Feature guide / 01

Bring your own passage

Practice library

Choose a ready-made passage from the library. Institute learners can also access passages provided by their institute.

Document import

Open a PDF, Word (.docx) or plain text (.txt) file and use its extracted text as the reference for a test.

Camera and gallery scanning

Photograph a printed passage or select an image from your gallery. On-device OCR extracts the text, detects Hindi or English and cleans up spacing and line breaks.

Feature guide / 02

Set up your typing session

Practice and blind transcription

Use practice mode for drills. For an exam-style session, choose blind transcription and type from your own notes or a source booklet while the app keeps the reference text hidden.

English and Hindi layouts

Use English QWERTY, Hindi Phonetic, Hindi Inscript or Remington GAIL. With Hindi Phonetic, typing “namaste” produces “नमस्ते”.

Live timer, speed and accuracy

Follow the test timer and watch your words per minute and accuracy as you type. Backspace works as normal editing. Automatic comma insertion helps with expected punctuation.

Feature guide / 03

Review your score and mistakes

Gross and net typing speed

See total typing speed, speed after full mistakes are deducted, accuracy, correct words and the full and half mistake counts.

Side-by-side transcript review

Compare your work with the reference. Green marks correct words, red flags full mistakes such as substitutions and misspellings, and amber shows omitted words. Capitalization and strict-mode punctuation can count as half mistakes.

Printable PDF scorecards

Save or share an A4 report with your roll number, test details, speed, accuracy and a color-coded transcript review.

Feature guide / 04
